I am back with a product review and this time it is about the most common problem we all deal with, yes my title made you read right DANDRUFF. I have baffled myself with this persistent problem and I know how difficult it gets to manage the tresses if your are dealing with dandruff.
Ahh the chemical treatments, pollution and water quality contributes to itchy dry scalp in lieu making the scalp flaky and hello dandruff. Well I am always on a hunt of Ayurvedic/ Herbal properties products to inculcate in my skin & hair regime and to my rescue Himalaya is out with their all new Anti Dandruff range which includes Anti Dandruff Hair Oil, Anti Dandruff Shampoo, Anti Dandruff Conditioner and Anti Dandruff Hair Cream.
Whirling ahead, I religiously followed the 4 step regime Himalaya came up with and honestly I was quite elated with the results .
The oil comes in a sleek transparent packaging with a flip cap and it claims to be enriched with Tea Tree Oil and Rosemary extracts which acts as an antiseptic agent thus helps to fight scalp infections and relieve itching . Also Rosemary has properties that strengthen hair follicles.
The oil has a light texture and can be used on a daily basis. I prefer oiling my hair a night prior to hair wash so it absorbs well making the scalp healthy.
The shampoo comes in a white packaging and is fortified with herbal ingredients like Tea Tree Oil, Chickpea and Aloe Vera . The shampoo claims to provide nourishment to the hair shaft, also helps to combat dandruff and soothes the scalp.
A runny consistency and a mild fragrance is what my first impression was. I am somebody who deals with mild dandruff and I did use this product for good 15-20 days. I could definitely notice less dandruff and a relief from itchiness. You need to use a good conditioner because the shampoo makes the hair a little on the dry end.
A light weight texture conditioner, it comes comes again in a white sturdy bottle and has a thin consistency. The conditioner helps to provide nourishment and is a good buy for normal to oily hair.
Enriched with the goodness of Tea Tree Oil and Tulsi, this product claims to remove dandruff effectively and gently while keeping the hair nourished and moisturised.
The leave in cream comes in a tub packaging and it looks alike regular body butter with musky fragrance. To my delight this is the most favorite anti dandruff product I own. Its super easy to work with, yes all you need is a circular motion massage for 2-3 minutes and you are good to go. I concentrate the product on the scalp and on my hair ends to provide the maximum nourishment and to soothe my itchy scalp.
Using this range for over 2 weeks now, I can vouch it definitely curbs mild dandruff . The itchiness is gone for forever, thanks to my most favorite product ( Himalaya Anti Dandruff Leave in Cream). If you baffle with dandruff I highly urge you guys to try out this range .
