Indian women are invariably considered to contribute majorly towards household chores specially laundry and cooking . It doesn’t matter the degrees you should, be you are an Entrepreneur , highly qualified women with no skills to manage home are still considered as not a wife material .
Well I truly believe the biggest culprit for this mindset is the upbringing , we as girls are given all round upbringing to manage professional as well as personal life whereas the boys are often even taught basic essential skills .
I am truly honoured to be associated with a brand like Ariel which drives #ShareTheLoad, campaign , with such a strong message of urging men to take the first step to do laundry #ShareTheLoad so that women can go out there and follow their dreams and passions too .
Well can a brand campaign can help curb the gender inequality that exists in households and change people’s mentality? Well, going by Ariel’s #ShareTheLoad campaign, the answer is yes. It encourages men to be equal partners when it comes to participating in chores at home.
Moms are the best changemakers and have it in them to create an equal tomorrow. This insight beautifully comes in the campaign #Sharetheload. Raising sons and daughters in the same manner and teaching them the same values will go a long way in creating a future that is free of prejudices. Ariel believes that like most things, change begins at home and getting your sons to help you out with simple tasks such as laundry with Ariel’s products is a great place to start.
This Women’s Day Ariel did a beautiful arrangement , they invited the ladies for the special screening of #CaptainMarvel at PVR Select City Mall. Captain Marvel is the first female-led superhero movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. A huge applaud to cinemas for focussing on women centric movies .
Moving on to the arrangements , the installation had power couple Ravi Dubey & Sargon Mehta spreading the awareness among the masses about the lovely initiative #ShareTheLoad . The screening also had an anti gravity booth which said ‘Lets make men do laundry’ a reality even on Earth.
I had an amazing time with team Ariel , Kudos to the effort .
